RULES & REGULATIONSFLORAL POLICY-PERMITTED© FLOWER PLANTINGS: Annual flowers may be planted in front of the marker, the width of the marker, but not to exceed 12 inches from the marker. NOTE: In Section 5-B Lawn Crypts flower plantings must be on the North side of the marker or in your vase unit.
Flower beds not maintained by the family will be removed.
Note: Deer/Animals do eat live flowers.
© EDGING: Edging is permitted for flower beds in front of the marker only, and must not exceed more than 12 inches from the marker. NOTE: Edging that becomes unsightly or exceeds 12 inches from the marker will be removed by cemetery staff.
© FRESH FLOWER BOUQUETS: Bouquets of fresh flowers may be placed in vase units. Will be removed when they become wilted.
© PLASTIC/SILK FLOWERS: Placed in vases.
© WREATHS: Decorated wreaths on easels no taller than 3 feet high.
© GRAVE BLANKETS: During holiday season.
© FLAGS: 12"x18" or smaller on 24" stick.
© BRONZE FLAG HOLDER: Placed on side of marker only.
To maintain the dignity of the cemetery, commemorative items, balloons, pinwheels, glass items, statues, shepherd hooks, rod iron decorations, stepping stones, lawn ornaments, wooden decorations, perennials, and permanent plantings among other items are not allowed.
ANYTHING NOT LISTED WILL BE REMOVED BY CEMETERY STAFF.
MAUSOLEUM/COLUMBARIUM © ATTACHING ITEMS TO CRYPT FRONTS: Attaching any item to a crypt or niche fronts is prohibited. Any items attached to a crypt or niche front will be removed immediately.
GENERAL RULES/REGULATIONS Speed limit 15 mph. PLEASE DO NOT PARK ON THE GRASS.
No riding of bicycles, skate boards, roller blades, or mopeds..
No skiing, sledding or snow boarding. No snow mobiles.
No excessive noise, alcoholic beverages, or hunting. No picking of flowers or breaking of shrubbery.
Children permitted only with parent/adult.
PETSPets allowed only on leashes.
You must carry a bag to clean up after your pet. $500 fine for not cleaning up after your pet.
Linwood Cemetery reserves the right to prohibit any pet from being in the cemetery.
MAINTENANCE The cemetery personnel have sole responsibility for the care and maintenance of the cemetery grounds.
Any requests for assistance or special services should be directed to the cemetery General Manager.
CEMETERY CLEAN-UP
Spring Clean-Up March 1 thru May 1
Fall Clean-Up Oct. 10 thru Nov. 15
Note: Any decorations you wish to keep must be removed before the clean-up begins. Any and all items left on graves will be disposed of during Cemetery Clean-Up.
THE CEMETERY IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THEFT OR DAMAGE TO ANY ITEM PLACED ON BURIAL SPACES OR VANDALISM TO MARKERS.
THESE RULES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE AS THE BOARD OF TRUSTEE'S DIRECTS.
